India Terrorist Attack
The terrorist attack in India is shocking and hard to believe. It happened in Mumbai, Maharashtra, where the terrorists had taken over Railway Stations and famous 5 star Hotels like Taj Palace and Oberoi. More than 100 people have been killed which includes civilians and police and army officers. The terrorists are aged between 20-35 and are Muslims. During phone calls with India TV, they wanted to pass a message to India and the whole world, that treat Muslims with Dignity and Respect, and the Muslims have the right to live. Moreover, the hidden demand from them was to release all the Mujahideens from the Indian jails and send them back to Pakistan. It is surprising that the two demands dont go hand in hand with each other. The source of entering the country was through a ship which sailed from Pakistan and was docked away from the mainland. The terrorist came in small rubber boats with alot of ammunition stuffed in a bag and with Nuts as a source of food and energy. They killed civilians blindly when they were running around. Let me discuss each point in detail.
The Railway stations in Mumbai are always crowded and therefore, attacking a station is very clever. The number of people killed there were high and more and more people tried running out and saving their lives. Police officers at the station were not armed and therefore tried to catch the terrorist with a stick. This is quite funny when someone is reading it, but at that situation people like you and me would pee in our pants and run away. The Taj Palace hotel is over a 100 years old and is one of the most famous hotels to stay in around the world. People from around the world come there to stay and experience the heritage. To attack such a big hotel is a bold move, but it shows that the hotel didnot have any security to keep the terrorists out. The terrorists killed people from all nationalities like from Finland, Phillipines, Japanese, Chinese, Spanish, Italian, American, Britishers, and the list goes on. They kept asking the civilians who is American and Britisher and killed them immediately. To distract the police, they kept burning different rooms so that they would be occupied in getting the fire off. Similarly, the situation was in the hotel Oberoi. They have even attacked the Jewish Center in Mumbai, and blown off the whole floor in many buildings. I think India has had enough of the stupid Terrorist coming from Pakistan. Either Pakistan should give in the terrorist, or the whole world should attack on Pakistan to eliminate the terorists.
It took minimum 24 hours to get the situation in control. When I say in control, i mean that not many people were being killed and the terrorist wernt roaming around as it was a holiday. The way the authorities handled the situation was very primitive. Also the situation gotten worst as the terrorist were throwing hand grenades. The hostages were scared and didnot know what to do. One of the hostage even wrote on the window of the hotel ”SAVE US”. The General Managers of Taj and his family were killed in the situation. No one from the Raj Thackrey activists were seen near the situation to save the “Amchi Mumbai”. Normally, they are the ones killing and causing riots saying that Mumbai is ours and we rule it. And now they dont care about their Mumbai? Moreover, later the Nariman House was also taken over by terrorists and the people were taken over as hostages.
