The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
Wow! Yeah, thats the only word I have to say after watching the movie. Normally, I hate drama films, but this movie kept my eyes glued to the screen all the time. From the beginning to the end, you are always ‘Curious’ to know what exactly will happen next. Oh yes ofcourse, in the middle it does get a little bit stretchy, where benjamin comes and goes to his ‘home’ but still the way it is picturised, it is really good. The acting of Brad Pitt is amazing, and even Cate Blanchett. The flow of the story is marvellous and it shows how difficult it would be if our biological cycle ticked the other way. The make up done to show the old Benjamin is really nice, and also the young Brad Pitt as he is 45, but he still looked as if he was only 25! The sound effects during the whole movie are perfect apt for the scenes, and especially during the ‘War’ scene, do see and hear it properly. The sounds of the guns firing and the bullets hitting the ship make it feel so real, that you feel you might start drowning or are shot dead! I could go on and on, and burst your bubble to watch the movie by telling you the entire story, but I would prefer not to do that. Therefore, even though there is ‘Global Financial Crisis’, go ahead and watch the movie in the Theatre. It sure is worth it.
