1and1 Web Hosting Services and Domain Registration- Thugs

The company 1and1 is filled with thugs, and their terms and conditions will trap you forever. I had two domains registered with them, www.miniturf.com and www.i-reserved.com, and they were about to expire yesterday. Without notifying me, or sending any warnings related to the expiry of my domains, they renewed them, and charged me on my credit card. Moreover, after I mailed them, they had the gutts to tell me that I should remember the expiry dates of my domains. I have over 20 domains, and registered with 4 different registrars, and they expect me to remember all of it. Wow, this is what I call screwed up Customer Service. And they are not ready to return my money, and are blaming me for all the actions. I have immediately removed myself from their service because I cannot take this crap of them treating a customer this way. On the other hand, with a registrar like GoDaddy, they notify me nearly every fortnight that my domains are going to expire and I should either renew them, or take some action related to it. If you want to make a wise decision, it is better to go for GoDaddy, and not the scam of 1and1. I am writing this article to help other people not to tangle in the web of 1and1, and mugged by them.

In my opinion, anyone who wants to have a successful internet business should avoid 1and1 internet like the Black Plaque. There is a reason why the Pennsylvania Better Business Bureau have them listed as: “Unsatifactory.”

I completely agree, and moreover, even though GoDaddy doesnot have a good reputation as well, but they dont behave like thugs, which is why I have shifted all my domains to GoDaddy. Its not like I am promoting GoDaddy, but I am recommending to avoid 1&1.
